Terms of Use

Last updated: 4 June 2026 · Effective on launch

These Terms govern your use of SealedVault. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you are accepting on behalf of an organisation — for example as a Managed Service Provider (MSP) — you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.

1. The service

SealedVault is a zero-knowledge, multi-tenant password manager. We provide web, browser-extension, iOS and Android clients and the synchronisation backend. Because the service is end-to-end encrypted, you are solely responsible for retaining your master password and any recovery material; we cannot recover them for you.

2. Accounts & tenancy

Users are global and identified by a canonical email address. An MSP (Subscriber) may create and manage sub-tenants for its clients and assign users to them. Each Subscriber is responsible for the lawful basis on which it stores and shares its clients' credentials, for managing memberships, and for offboarding users promptly. You must keep your credentials confidential and notify us of any suspected compromise.

3. Plans, trials & billing

  • Free: one user, at no cost, for as long as you keep the account.
  • Trial: up to ten users for ninety days with all features and no payment card required.
  • Managed: $3 per user per month for a Subscriber's first tenant, and $2 per user per month for each additional managed tenant, billed via a single itemised Stripe invoice.

Fees are exclusive of taxes. Paid subscriptions renew until cancelled. Card processing is performed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use SealedVault to store or share content unlawfully, to attempt to breach the security of the service or other tenants, to reverse-engineer for the purpose of defeating the cryptographic model, or to resell access except as expressly permitted under the MSP model. We may suspend accounts that threaten the integrity or security of the platform.

5. Recovery & data loss

The zero-knowledge design means that if you lose your master password and have no recovery method enabled, your data is unrecoverable. Organisations may enable an opt-in recovery-admin role, subject to the consent, rate-limit, canary-delay and no-self-recovery protections described in our documentation. You accept that no party — including us — can decrypt your vault without the appropriate keys.

6. Intellectual property

The SealedVault software, branding and marks are owned by InterconX. v1 clients are closed-source; an independent cryptographer review and external code audit are committed but not yet completed. Your encrypted content remains yours. We claim no ownership over the data you store.

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We will provide a means to export your data so you are never locked in.

8. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or that the cryptographic implementation is free of all defects, though we apply conservative primitives, extensive test vectors, and a committed external review to minimise that risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Our aggregate liability arising from the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Termination

You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend access for material breach of these Terms. On termination, your right to use the service ends; export your data beforehand.

11. Governing law & changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which InterconX operates. We may update these Terms and will post changes here with a revised date; continued use constitutes acceptance.
